Dedicated to the study of marine science, maritime history and

planet  survival.

The goals of the Society are to expand the knowledge of the marine environment through research, exploration, and communication.

To provide a common bond for those with an interest in marine science, maritime history and the earths environment.

The Society seeks to encourage marine exploration and research through a broad range of disciplines.

To establish and maintain a centralized data base and forum where scientists, marine related industries, historians, educators, students, divers and the general public may share information and areas of mutual interest.

To continue to develop an extensive body of research and reference materials in the Society's library and archives.

To attract youth to the growing fields of marine science and maritime history; to provide expedition opportunities for students and members; to create a heightened awareness of the many biological and historical treasures in our seas, and how to protect and maintain them.
